Choose the option that's comfortable for you
Micronutrients are vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and antioxidants in the blood and inside the blood cells. We offer two different blood test options, both measure dozens of micronutrient levels, ratios and indexes.
The finger prick test looks at micronutrient levels in the bloodstream whereas the blood draw test looks deeper to see how those nutrients in the bloodstream are being absorbed by the actual red and white blood cells where they are needed.
The finger prick test measures micronutrient levels inside the bloodstream. This extracellular test reflects your diet and supplement regime over the past 4 days.
Blood draw
The blood draw looks deeper at what your white and red blood cells are actually absorbing. This reflects your long-term nutritional status from the previous 4-6 months for a more accurate view of your micronutrient health.

This report takes into account all nutrients that are out of range and shows you which body systems are impacted by them. In addition you get a summary of each nutrient that is out of range.
Actual data
For each nutrient measured, they not only show your data in the blood liquid but they also show what your white or red blood cells are absorbing. Notice vitamin B12. It looks fine in the serum but the white blood cells are not absorbing enough. This is then something you can discuss with your healthcare provider.
Charts
Many people prefer to conduct the micronutrient test every year or two. In this case, they chart your data over time so you can see changes.
Nutrient Out of Range Sheets
For each nutrient that is out of range they supply a sheet like this. It reviews what the nutrient does for you, ways in which it gets depleted, clinical signs of nutrient depletion, and my personal favorite food you can eat more of or less of to increase or decrease your nutrient levels. Finally, it also provides supplement options, but we always recommend you work with your healthcare provider on which supplements are best for you
